BloomHer · Last updated: 19 October 2026
In short: your answers, your name, your journal, your check-ins and everything you write stay on your phone. We never see them. We only count anonymous app use, handle purchases through Apple and RevenueCat, and, only if you allow it, tell Meta which ad brought you to BloomHer.
Who we are
BloomHer is made by Isac Wester (sole trader, Sweden), the data controller. Questions or requests: support@bloomher.site.
What stays on your phone
BloomHer has no account. Your quiz answers (including whether faith is part of your journey), your name, your goals and plan, check-ins, journal entries, slips, hard moments, your letter to yourself and your tree are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us or anyone else. If you delete the app, they are deleted with it. Reminders are scheduled on your phone and never say what BloomHer is about. Face ID, if you turn it on, is handled by Apple; we never see your face data.
What leaves your phone
- Anonymous app use (PostHog, servers in the EU). Which screens of the setup you reach, whether you start a trial or subscribe, and which tools you open, linked to a random ID for this install. Never your answers, your faith path, your name or anything you write. We use it to see where the app can be clearer and better.
- Purchases (Apple and RevenueCat). Payments are made through Apple; we never see your card details. RevenueCat manages subscriptions for us with an anonymous app user ID, the product, price, currency and dates of your trial and subscription.
- Ad measurement (Meta), only if you allow tracking. If you tap "Allow" when your iPhone asks whether BloomHer may track, Meta receives that BloomHer was installed and opened and that a trial or subscription started (with its price), together with your device's advertising identifier and Meta's anonymous ID. This tells us which ads work so we can reach more women. Meta never receives your answers, your name or anything you write. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", we don't send these events to Meta. You can change this anytime in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for anything else.
Why we may use it (GDPR)
- Purchases: to provide the subscription you bought (contract).
- Anonymous app use: our legitimate interest in improving BloomHer, kept anonymous and minimal.
- Ad measurement with Meta: your consent, given through Apple's tracking prompt.
How long we keep it
Anonymous app use is kept for up to 12 months. Purchase records are kept as long as accounting law requires. What stays on your phone is yours to delete at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction or deletion of data held about you, object to its use, or withdraw consent, by writing to us. Because we don't know who you are, include your App Store receipt (from the email Apple sends) so we can find your purchase records. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or your local authority.
Age
BloomHer is for women 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
